Internet governance
The 15th edition of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), the United Nations’ most significant multistakeholder platform for discussing internet governance, is taking place virtually from 9 to 17 November 2020, with pre-sessions from 3 to 6 November. These are APC's priorities for this year's IGF.
The primary objective of AfriSIG is to give Africans from multiple sectors and stakeholder groups the opportunity to gain knowledge and build the confidence that will enable them to participate effectively in internet governance processes and debates. This study covers seven schools (2013-2019).
The coalition of civil society groups undersigned are committed to supporting the implementation of the vision in which “all stakeholders play a role in advancing a safer, more equitable digital world, one which will lead to a brighter and more prosperous future for all.”

The APC Impact Report 2016-2019 encapsulates the APC network's high level impact over the four years of our strategic cycle, which ended in 2019. While the report looks back at our work, it also brings us forward through the strategic direction that we set for ourselves in the next four years.
The APrIGF 2020 is taking place on 27-30 September. APC is actively supporting its members and networks as they engage in this space, and APC staff are part of the Multistakeholder Group (MSG), Programme Committee, Drafting Committee and Virtual Working Group.
Unwanted Witness envisions APC in 10 years as a formidable and influential force shaping the way technology is governed and utilised to uphold democracy and human rights globally.
APC considers the 45th Human Rights Council sessions an important opportunity to discuss country situations of concern, to review how states are complying with their human rights situations and to influence the setting up of international standards in the area of human rights online.
